Labour’s 2011 candidate selection underway

The Labour Party's candidate selection for the 2011 general election is underway with nominations having closed last Friday for the first five electorates scheduled by the Party for early selection.

The following nominations were received by the Party by 5pm on Friday 29 January:
Auckland Central: Jacinda Ardern
Maungakiekie: Carol Beaumont
Ohariu: Charles Chauvel
West Coast-Tasman: Damien O’Connor
Waitakere: Ann Pala, Carmel Sepuloni, Hamish McCracken, Phil Twyford
